THE  BRITISH  BULLDOG  CLUB

Championship  Show 2006

Judge: Mr Colin Reed (Byquy)

My thanks to the committee and members for the privilege to judge so many excellent dogs.  The hospitality shown to my family and I was appreciated.  I really enjoyed being back amongst Bulldog people.

Certainly the breed in general has improved immensely over the past 25/30 years.  This improvement has been more to do with general shape and balance – affording exhibits more general quality.  One area that has not shown so much improvement is that of wry mouths.  Future improvement in this aspect would greatly assist the breed in general.

A great day, a good show well organised, and real bulldog hospitality.  Thank you.
