THE  BRITISH  BULLDOG  CLUB

Championship  Show 2007

Judge: Mr Chris Carberry (Berrybrook)

Nantwich Civic Hall was decked in its Christmas finery with coloured lights and snowman on the stage, and all our exhibitors and guests were welcomed with complimentary wine, cheese and cake.

The British Bulldog Club Championship Show was held on the same weekend as Bulldog of the Year, and as a consequence, a lot of foreign guests attended both events.  We had a crowded ringside, with a super atmosphere.  The tombola and raffle did tremendous business, which all added to the fun, and tickets for the club’s dinner dance and Puppy Competition to be held of March 15th went like hot cakes.

The National Anthem heralded the start of the show, and we welcomed our judge Mr Chris Carberry (Berrybrook).  He had drawn a super entry of 172 dogs, which he proceeded to judge in a very workmanlike manner.  The exhibitors and spectators appreciated his placings, and he found his Best In Show and Dog CC winner  Mr & Mrs Martin’s Cyh. Calibra Kryptonite JW, the bitch CC went to Mr & Mrs Seal’s Sealaville She’s Paris and Best Puppy went to Mrs Dellar and Mr Cahill’s Meriveen That’s Maggie.

The committee gives its grateful thanks to the Judge, exhibitors and spectators, all of whom helped to make it a great show day.
