I would like to thank the committee for their invitation to judge this prestigious show and their kindness and hospitality on the day.
In general the quality has improved a little since I last judged with the bitches still having much better quality overall. However I found there to be more poor jaws than I would like to see, and there are still some quite overweight exhibits. However, there seem to be more large open nostrils and than in the past and there are some nice tails beginning to appear. Although most exhibits were presented in good condition I still found more than a few with dirty nose rolls, stained eyes and some in need of a good brush, considering the time it takes to keep a bulldog in good clean condition. I find this unacceptable. My awards are as follows.
