Championship club show  23^rd November 2008  Nantwich

I had a wonderful day with 167 dogs to run the hands over, lovely venue, great company and the craic was great.

Many thanks to my stewards and everyone else who worked so hard to make the day run successfully.

I had some grand dogs , my only worrying  factor was that I saw quite a few forefaces weak in construction with want of  depth throughout, straight jaws missing that lovely upsweep so necessary to our breed, it also distorts lay-back.

It has been a long time since I have seen this, but otherwise I was delighted to see so many sound dogs, with not a roar to be heard well done on this aspect to the breeders.

2 Lunt: Jaqles Bailey: Bigger boy than one, grand head, good skull foreface and jaw, nice stop, good eye placement, nice body shape, needs time in front, good bone and hindquarters, moved well, lovely condition.

3 Heeley:  MyloBull John Bull Wedgeburry.

1 Davis & Bishopbrick: Pheorm All Eyes On Me Mystyle: Cracking pup grand head with good eye and ear placement on flat long skull, nice foreface and sweep of jaw, large nostrils, nice pigment, short cobby body with good top line and tail.  Grand bone, handled well, good mover, lovely pup. (best puppy dog)

2 Carson: Carsvale Valentine: Bigger than No1, lovely massive head great long broad skull, lovely foreface and jaw, well set dark eyes, nice body shape front and bone, a bit sluggish on the move

3 Davies: Avapal Dynamite.

1 Peacock: Coatesmar Stormtrooper: Massive headed dog with great skull beautiful foreface with width and sweep of jaw, good stop,  eye and ear placement, nice front grand bone, neat feet, cobby body with good rib and hindquarters, moved and shown well.

2 Lockett: Mickanjie Red Renagade: Grand head flat skull, with length and breadth, nice eye and ear  placement, good sweep of jaw, good brisket, short cobby body, nice bone, more strength in shoulder to come, moved and shown well, lovely condition.

3 Bellerby: Jaybelaee Armstrong.

1 Walker: Joethebull the Notorious: a big boy, lovely head with good clear dark eye, grand skull,with nice width and dept of foreface, good jaw, dark pigment, large nostrils, good front and bone, long in body, good hindquarters moved nicely, lovely coat.

1 Mc Whirter: Mystyle Conker with Aldanat: good head nice sour expression, good length of skull and sweep of jaw, good front and bone, feet could be tighter, good overall body shape, good condition and movement, would like a bit more of him overall.

2 Fridlington: Theoben Masterpiece at Albertwood: Pleasing head good flat skull, needs more turn of jaw, good eye and ear set, large nostrils, nice pigment, good front and bone, nice body shape with good barrel rib, a shade longer on back then no1, moved well.

3 Riley: Louame Mr Beaujangels for Rumbulls Tums.

1 Daws:Outdoors Bombshell Billy: standard size dog with grand head, good length and width throughout, nice stop eye and ear set, good width of foreface and sweep of jaw, grand front with tacked on shoulder, grand bone, neat feet, short cobby body, good hindquarters, moved and showed well.

2 Livingstone: Jacobella Bo Diddley: standard dog with lovely long skull, correct set ear and eye, good depth through foreface, good turn of jaw, good deep chest and barrel ribs, neat front and bone good top line and hindquaters, lovely condition moved well.

1 Borden: Iceglint Im Rudy at Tanstum: all male, grand head long skull with  enough work, good ear and eye placement, good stop nice width and upsweep of jaw, well let down brisket, strong bone, short coupled body, with good barrel of rib, good hind quarters showed and moved lovely.

2 Davis: Hilbull Heeza Lord Mystyle: standard size with lovely head grand skull nice eye and ear set, nice pigmentation, large nostrils lovely width in fore face, good sweep of jaw, enough depth of  brisket for age, great bone good barrel ribs, nice body shape, good hindquarters and of course handled to perfection, moved well

3 Seal: Sealaville He’s Maximus.

1 Garside: CH. Iceglint Im Harry: stunning dog with grand head long flat skull, well rounded cheeks, exc. depth through head and muzzle, good stop grand sweep of jaw which gives that correct facial expression, good clear eye, nice ear set, great depth of brisket, strong bone, great barrel ribs, nice overall body shape, correct hindquarters, very muscular dog with movement and personality second to none, I would have liked him a shade smaller, but his virtues overcame this for me.

2 Davis : CH/int.CH Ocobo Freddy Mystyle: standard size dog with fantastic head grand skull and foreface, good set ear and eye placement, good sweep of jaw, lovely front with tacked on shoulder, cobby body shape with barrel rib, good hindquarters, handled and moved well, he just did not seem to  sparkle to day. Res CC.

1 Stubberfield: Fair Maiden to Unstoppable: beautiful puppy feminine head, good skull and foreface for age, nice sweep of jaw, good dark pigment, lovely front good brisket strong bone, down to neat feet, short cobby body, good topline and ribs, good hindquarters, just couldn’t keep my eyes off her, moved well. B.PIS and Res CC

2 Ironmonger: Ocobo Rose Bud Britannic: another lovely type with grand skull and fore face, good jaw nice wide nostrils good pigment, lovely body shape, good ribs good front and bone, nice hindquarters, lovely condition moved well ,a shade longer then no1.

3 Lunt&Smith: Birkita Judy at Jaqles.

1 Williams: Jaminic Bootylicious for Bulltannia: I do think my puppy bitch classes were really good with another grand pup, lovely condition feminine head nice skull, good foreface and jaw, wide nostrils, ears a little heavy, good front and bone down to neat feet, good body shape and barrel rib good hindquarters showed and moved well.

2 Davies: Avapal Distinction: standard size with good head, long skull good width of foreface and jaw, nice layback for age, large nostrils good brisket and bone, cobby body, could be a little stronger in top line good condition moved well.

1 Davis : Hillbull Sheeza Sunbeam Mystyle: its no secret that I have always admired the stock from this kennel, and I was not disappointed today. Condition and presentation second to none, what a dream this young lady is. Feminine head long flat skull with good eye and ear set, lovely foreface and jaw with grand sweep, good layback dark pigment, open nostrils lovely body shape, best topline and tail set, grand bone and front and of course moved beautiful. CC and Res.BIS  making her up on the day. Congratulations
